TBS SERVICES BACKGROUND

As a trauma counsellor, and recognizing the need to specialize in rape counselling Aubrey opened his company called TBS Services in 1988 and has been giving training courses to companies, and schools ever since. His training modules have been copyrighted and were formulated not only through theoretical methods, but hands- on knowledge through interviews with both perpetrators and survivors. Although he is an internationally qualified karate instructor, his methods of self defense are simple, practical and effective.

TraumAssist, which is a national organization for trauma councelling was also started by Aubrey, and the centre work with many of the police stations and hospitals, in an effort to change the methods that were previously used when rape surviviors were interviewed, aswell as for direct counselling. Aubrey has worked with numerous survivors over the past 16 years and has dedicated most of his working life to the effective methods of crime prevention.
